For so long I haven't heard it. It surprises you that one particular song can fill you with such emotion from the past. Emotion you wish you would not have to feel yet you don't mind.

For so long I haven't felt sad as this. I've been fine on my own. I've been doing what I can to provide myself with the right things for the near future.

Protecting myself.

Yet I still feel punched right in my chest. I can't figure what's wrong with me. I do hope some fulfillment will arrive to bring me joy again. To make me feel gay once again. To make me smile again.
